Nerdy Planet is a travel discovery service. It lets you browse an interactive map and feed of science, history, and nature locations worldwide, read articles about those places, save favorites, and track visits. The service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
Some features (favorites, visited places, collections) require a free account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the profile settings page, which permanently removes all your data.
Articles, illustrations, map data, and other content provided in the service are owned by Nerdy Planet or used under license. You may read, share, and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute full articles without written permission. Photographs are credited to their sources and remain under their original licenses.
Content you create (notes, ratings, collections) remains yours. By submitting content (such as place suggestions or corrections), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify that content within the service.
We do our best to ensure articles are factually accurate, including cited sources and automated fact-checking. However, content is for informational and entertainment purposes. We are not liable for errors, omissions, or decisions made based on our content. Always verify critical information (opening hours, prices, accessibility) from primary sources before you travel.

The service is free and may show advertising. Where consent is required (for example in the EEA and UK), ads are only personalized with your consent. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The service uses third-party providers (Supabase, Cloudflare, Google) as described in our Privacy Policy. The service may also contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Most features require an internet connection.
Nerdy Planet is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (which is zero — it is free).
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
